FACETS (Formative Assessment in the Mathematics Classroom: Engaging Teachers and Students) is a project at Education Development Center (EDC) to develop, implement, and study a 2-year professional development program that will:
- introduce the principles and techniques of formative assessment to middle school math teachers, and
- support teachers in using formative assessment to improve mathematics learning
The project's professional development model includes both face-to-face interactions and online work. This website is used by our participants for the online work.
